GLENDRONACH SCOTH 12YR 750ML

The Glendronach distillery was founded in 1826, it was one of the first licensed distilleries in Scotland. Over the years of extended maturation, carefully seasoned casks have helped create the unique richly sherried style that Glendronach is famous for. GlenDronach 12 year, is a dense, very heavily sherried single malt. The nose opens rich and spicy, with some sweeter Pedro Ximénez notes and lots of delicious raw ginger before becoming creamier with hazelnuts. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and mellow with an initial rush of rich dark fruit and a rye-like spiciness, which subside into dried plums, buttered toast, and dark chocolate shavings.
